On 16th February 2014, we released our debut album ISLANDER with Shape Records. ISLANDER was mostly recorded over two days in the rehearsal rooms beneath Elevator Studios in Liverpool. Our very own Ben Dempsey Sawin mixed the album. We did a little UK tour and recorded a live session for Marc Riley on BBC 6 Music.

We started work on our second album in early 2015. This time, we decided to record with the super talented JT, of Islet, at Pontvane in mid-Wales.

Over four excellent days in January 2015 we recorded fourteen songs (amongst playing poker and petting Bobby the studio pupper đŸ¶)
We returned a few times to work on the mixes but this album became, and stayed, a work in progress.
Instead, we self-recorded and released our EP GREETINGS ALL. Life took over, Mowbird played less and some of us moved on to other projects/bands.

We’ve missed Mowbird. We felt like we weren’t done yet.
We returned to QUEST late last year, revisiting the mixes and working to finally shape it into existence.
Today, on the tenth anniversary of our first album being released, we present our second album QUEST.

We hope you enjoy listening to it. Thank you to each other, JT and everyone else along the way.

This quest is complete.
